(Selbst-)Beschreibung  gemeinsam erarbeitet mit den Studierenden der Studiengruppe Informationsdesign zur Jahresausstellung 2023:

The Studiengruppe Informationsdesign (SI) is a space for creative experimentation. We ask: What is information? How is knowledge created and what forms does it take? Who decides what constitutes knowledge? What remains unseen? Whose voices go unheard? We ask ourselves: What is our position? And in what ways do this give rise to opportunities and conditions for action? How can we understand our practice as a process of taking shape? How can design be partisan? We work together with socio-political activist initiatives and networks and, through the process of our cooperation, negotiate how we can support their causes and how we wish to work together. Our work is a negotiation of the potential of design.

Die Studiengruppe Informationsdesign (SI) ist ein Raum für gestalterische Experimente. Wir stellen in Frage: Was ist Information? Wie entsteht Wissen und welche Formen nimmt es an? Wer entscheidet über die Anerkennung von Wissen? Was ist unsichtbar? Wer wird nicht gehört? Wir fragen uns: Was ist unsere Position? Und in welcher Form erwachsen daraus Möglichkeiten und Konditionen des Handelns? Wie können wir unsere Praxis als Formwerdung begreifen? Wie kann Design parteiisch sein? Wir arbeiten gemeinsam mit sozialpolitisch aktivistischen Initiativen und Netzwerken und verhandeln im Prozess unserer Kooperation, wie wir ihre Anliegen unterstützen können, wie wir zusammen arbeiten wollen. Unsere Arbeit ist Aushandlung des Potentials von Gestaltung.
