Two day workshop in 2015 with kids age 5–12 about manifestos, poster printing and changing rules

In the course of the exhibition "Adventures of the Black Square - Abstract Art and Society 1915-2015", we examined visible and invisible rules in the museum. In a playful way, we got to know the meaning of manifestos and self-imposed rules as means of critique in the context of abstract geometric art. After an aesthetic analysis of the images, the children created a stamp alphabet and used it to print posters that called for a breach of the previously collected rules. At the end of the workshop, the group itself organized a protest march through the room with their posters.
